Over 40 Retired Military Leaders Urge the Senate to Close the CIA Loophole on Torture

Tomorrow, the Senate will vote on whether it will join the House in putting an end to the loophole that allows the CIA to engage in torture and official cruelty. Over 40 retired military leaders have written to the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee in favor of legislation that would apply the Army Field Manual Standards of interrogation to the CIA.
