Will the GOP Platform Include an Anti-Torture Plank?
Today’s Wall Street Journal reports that Senator John McCain won’t be playing a large role in the formulation of his party’s platform. Hopefully his longstanding public opposition to torture and official cruelty will nevertheless be embraced in the document.
