He knows that making illegal law does not make us safer.

In fact it would be easy to argue that illegal law like this one and some of the Constitution violating laws of the &quot;Patriot&quot; Act could some day be a terrible problam for the US.  

Think if the Supremem Court were to be come very progressive and the majority suddenly said all these prisoners have had their rights violated and thus had to be let free.  

If we suddenly had a Court that started declaring all these &quot;Political Panic&quot; laws unconstitutional we would have a huge number of US employees out of work.  The military would be subjec to the prosecution along with our leaders in the world court.  

Obama is correct in following the law.  It means his actions and his Justice Department can stand as examples of fair and impartial law, not political panic law.

Now as to military Kangaroo Commissions...</description>
