Here's more information about our work in U.S. counterterrorism measures, including torture, Guantanamo and Bagram, etc.

I would request the author to focus on the US HR grave abuses throughout the world.
It has gone on the rampage destroying the sanctity of two sovereign countries - Iraq and Afghanistan - carrying out a carnage in a third - Pakistan - and has to date killed over 2 million people mostly women and children in its sham wars on terror.
While Bahrain isn't a real democracy, the US is. Yet the latter continues to violate the basic rights of people through illegal prisons set up in occupied lands, the famous or rather infamous of them being Guantanamo in Cuba.
The pretext under which the US does this is nation security and the 'potential threat' the inmates of their prisons hold against her.
If so, Bahrain has every right to prosecute potential dangers to its sovereignty.
There is enough documented evidence against those indicted for various crimes, and their status shouldn't be a reason for their exoneration.
I hope you see the truth.

I've sent a letter to my Senator (Diane Feinstein) who serves on the Defense Appropriations subcommittee suggesting a bill to move the 5th Fleet if the human rights situation does not improve.
