The way refugees are treated is one of the greatest human rights atrocities of our time, and the way these "civilized" nations treat refugees are completely deplorable. For anyone who balks at spending resources to support refugees should read a book like Lamey's "Frontier Justice" -- it should help some of these folks remember that refugees are people too.
