While the Indonesia incident is deplorable, some of the facts are not right:
1. The 'victims' came from Jakarta in a mini-bus, complete with a camera-man and refused orders by the police to leave the small remote rural village.
2. The punishment of one of the 'victims' was that the did not follow police orders to leave when the tiny local police detachment knew that it would not be able to contain the melee.

Please get your facts from the source and not from the Ahmadiyya.

Otherwise, keep up the great human rights work.

Enforce ICCPR, ICERD & CPPCG ... You & whose army? The human rights situation we desire can only come about in the absence of Islam.

So long as a majority of the population is convinced that their economic, social & military failures result from insufficient religious zeal and purity, minorities will be persecuted.

So long as the majority believes that they have a divine mandate to punish disbelievers, minorities will be assaulted, murdered and dispossessed.

So shocking! I am left speechless by these accounts and overwhelmed by the helplessness I feel knowing how many are subjected to such horror.

Thank you, Pam, for your hard work in telling the world about these important issues.
