Until China began engaging the Burmese government in constructive talks and visits, Burma depended exclusively for its foreign currency income upon The United States oil company, Chevron, and the French oil company Total. Both supported the hideous Burmese dictatorships and 'lobbied' (bribed) ourcorrupt Congress to leave the Burmese people to rot.

Then China entered the picture and, with infinite patience, began to attract the Burmese government out of its reactionary position.

The result is exactly what you would expect from respectful, patient dialogue.

It is amusing to see Ms. clinton scurrying over to salvage something from the mess created by Chevron and Total.
