Baldwin Award Nomination Deadline Fast Approaching!

Calling all submissions!  The deadline to nominate a human rights activist or organization for the 2012 Roger N. Baldwin Medal of Liberty Award is quickly approaching! Submit your nominations by February 6, 2012.

Human rights advocates throughout the world are encouraged to nominate individuals or organizations who have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to international human rights in the areas of Social Networking and Internet Freedom, Religious Freedom, LGBT Rights, and/or Freedom from Torture. The award will be presented during a ceremony in New York City in the Spring of 2012 and the winner will receive a $25,000 prize.

The Roger N. Baldwin Medal of Liberty Award, named in honor of the principal founder of the American Civil Liberties Union and the International League for Human Rights, was established in 1989 and is presented in alternating years by Human Rights First and the ACLU.
