Well. The ability to take and detain. Put in jail indefinitely. That Presidential order did one thing well. It terrified Iraqi's in the U.S. from protesting or even speaking up. Or having us get any news from their people as to what is going on.

Indefinate detention. Arrest without warrant. Has a terror all in itself. Guantanamo was the forerunner of that. Serving to keep peoples mouths shut in Iraq and the U.S. I agree with that gentlemans reply above. Adding one thing. Not the biggest "bully". However the country that loves to invade. We invade more countries than anyone else on the earth.

I don't believe there is a "free press" Just catalouged search engines. A news that is owned by the printers of cash. Who are the "debt merchants" of this place. That holds the mortgage and debt of just about everyone in America.

They do business. So does the United States. Right now in Iraq. Iran is drilling oil in Iraq. Do a search. You will find out they have an oil pipleline running straight through the Iraqi desert into the Iranian oil refineries. Not only that China, Russia and many other countries. Are drilling oil in Iraq. They have our "puppet government" installed. Everything is running smoothly sort of.

The nuclear garbage and talk of course used to "stablize" the region. Just like they "stablized" Eastern Europe after WW2. They are "developing" this now as this is written.

I am weary of U.S. invasion. I am very weary of listening to them set up their next invasion on the "debt merchant" owned news. They won't tell you its not just "Homs" that revolting. Its an entire "arc" of cities right around Damascus. They use "Homs" and suburbs with muslim or dark skinned people on purpose. To show them as victims (hey we are the good guys) or later as crazed religious fanatics. Damascus is never shown and if only the "right" sides of town. No one would know that there are the indigenous "white" syrians. Of which my GF is one. My ramble here is to show you they are buying time. Trying to install another "puppet" like Assad. Someone with a brand new face. Someone with "Democracy" in his pocket. Assad is well highly unpopular and not working out. They tried the same thing in Egypt. Its not working out for them. When they decide to show you whats going on there. When it suits their purpose.

The moral here. We may be calling someone an "enemy" when it reality they aren't. They are just used to balance out the other side of the equation that is really, really offended by us. Believe me the U.S. offends a lot of the world greatly.

This article sums up my thoughts on the subject of the costs of being a rogue state. When I joined the US Marine Corp, I swore to defend the constitution to the best of my ability; I take that oath seriously. I find our present policies to be contrary to the precepts set forth in that constitution, harmful to us as individuals and as a nation and to our standing in world politics. We have become the biggest bully in the world and that must be reversed or we will all suffer the inevitable consequences.
