One of the major industrial issues for the 21st century, when so much of production has been outsourced to other countries, is the ineffective, in some cases complete lack of, health and safety legislation from the governmnets of the countries concerned.

It is contemptible that Apple, and so many others, are happy to give the green light to working practices elsewhere that would be illegal if they were practiced in the US.

I urge that Apple, and the other companies involved in this disgraceful trade off between human life and cost benefit work constructively together and with their Chinese manufacturers to propeerly address duty and responsibility.
