Tad Stahnke, director of Policy and Programs, joined a panel of Islamic experts at the Muslim Public Affairs Council in Los Angeles to address the reality of religious minorities in Muslim-majority countries.
In a panel titled, Minority Rights in Muslim Countries, Stahnke raised issues facing religious minorities in the Arab Spring and the violent role of blasphemy in silencing dissent. Stahnke also stressed the key role of education in securing religious freedom.
