Today there are an estimated 15 million refugees around the world in need of protection, safety and a durable solution. Congressman Donald Payne (NJ-10) worked tirelessly to bring attention to displaced situations in Africa and around the world. He advocated on behalf of those who were persecuted and those affected by violence and war. This World Refugee Day, we honor Congressman Payne’s commitment to the refugee cause.
