Alison Searle
Joined Human Rights First in 2011
As Advocacy Associate, Alison supports the Senior Advocacy Strategist who develops Human Rights First’s strategies to influence U.S. human rights policy. Alison cultivates and manages relationships with advocacy partners and allies and works closely with NGO partners and coalitions to further shared goals.
Before joining Human Rights First, Alison spent two years abroad in Ecuador, Australia and Southeast Asia, teaching English and traveling.
Alison received her Master’s degree from the School of Foreign Service in Latin American Studies with a focus on Humanitarian Emergencies and Refugees from Georgetown University (2011) and a dual B.S. in Spanish and Education from The Pennsylvania State University (2007).
