Alison Searle

Assistant for Advocacy
Joined Human Rights First in 2011

As Assistant for Advocacy, Alison supports the Senior Advocacy Strategist who develops Human Rights First’s strategies to influence U.S. human rights policy. Alison also works with the Human Rights Defender and Crimes Against Humanity programs with research, writing and administrative support.

Before joining Human Rights First, Alison spent two years abroad in Sweden, Ecuador and Australia, teaching English and traveling.

Alison received her Master’s degree from the School of Foreign Service in Latin American Studies with a focus on Humanitarian Emergencies and Refugees from Georgetown University (2011) and a dual B.S. in Spanish and Education from The Pennsylvania State University (2007).
