Joined Human Rights First in 2011

Gina DelChiaro is the Leon Levy Fellow at Human Rights First, where she works to increase high quality pro bono legal representation of indigent asylum-seekers and other immigrants in New York City.

Prior to joining Human Rights First, Gina spent six years as an associate in the New York office of Sidley Austin LLP, where she represented a variety of clients in securities and complex commercial litigation in both federal and state courts and before regulatory agencies. Gina also maintained an active pro bono practice, with a focus on representing asylum-seekers and mentoring junior associates in immigration matters.

Gina graduated cum laude from San Francisco State University and earned her law degree from Fordham Law School.
