Ms. Dyer is a Staff Attorney in the Refugee Protection Program where she oversees the pro bono legal representation of indigent asylum seekers. She provides support to volunteer lawyers from law firms in the Washington, D.C. metro area who represent asylum seekers at all levels of the system.

Prior to joining Human Rights First, Ms. Dyer was most recently a Fellow at the Political Asylum/Immigration Representation (PAIR) Project in Boston, where she represented asylum seekers and detained non-citizens seeking cancellation of removal.  She also served as the Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Immigration Public Service Committee.  Prior to her PAIR fellowship, Ms. Dyer practiced litigation at Foley Hoag and Donnelly, Conroy & Gelhaar, where her pro bono case work included immigration and domestic violence cases.  Ms. Dyer also served as a law clerk to the Honorable F. Dennis Saylor, IV in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

Ms. Dyer has a degree in psychology from Cornell University and she graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
