Michael Greenberg
Chief Financial Officer
Joined Human Rights First in January 2005

Michael has served as Chief Financial Officer in both the non-profit and profit sectors, where he acquired experience in financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, payroll and benefits, human resources, SEC filings, insurance, and controllership duties.  Before joining Human Rights First, Michael served as consultant to numerous 501(c)3 charities.  Prior to that, he served as Chief Financial Officer to several public and private high-technology companies specializing in online financial transactions, as VP of SwissRe dealing in offshore insurance, and articled with KPMG.

Michael is a member of Human Rights First’s senior management team and serves as the liaison to both the Board of Director’s Finance and Audit Committees.  Michael graduated with distinction and honors from the University of Saskatchewan, Canada with a B.Comm (1987).  He is also a Certified Public Accountant (U.S.A.) as well as a Chartered Accountant (Canada).
