Joined Human Rights First in 1996

As Executive Coordinator, Kathy Jones works both in the development area, managing donor relations as well as on major public events and staff public speaking opportunities. From 1997 – 2004, Kathy was Senior Staff and Director of Human Resources.

Before joining Human Rights First in 1996, Kathy was Associate Publisher and Advertising Director of the New York Review of Books for 13 years, where she helped launch the London Review of Books. Following that, Kathy lived overseas for ten years – joining her husband, a foreign correspondent for the New York Times, in Tokyo, Rome and Jerusalem. In Israel, Kathy was the Director of Foreign Press for the Israel Museum.

Kathy attended Canisius College (1967) and Harvard Business School's Small Company Management Program (1983 - 1984).
