Joined Human Rights First in 2004

Bobbie Silvera joined Human Rights First as Director of Human Resources in June 2004.  Bobbie has worked in both the non-profit and profit sectors, where she gained substantial experience in management, training and development, talent acquisition, mentoring and succession planning.  Before joining Human Rights First, Bobbie served as a Human Resources Consultant to the Bergen–Hudson Chapter of The American Red Cross and was also a member of their Volunteer Leadership Committee.  Prior to that Bobbie helped investors in both privately and publicly held corporations reengineer their workforces to align with strategic organizational objectives. Bobbie also has extensive experience in employee and labor relations and negotiation, policy and procedure development, and wage and compensation management.
