Kathryn Plummer

Associate, Refugee Protection Campaign

Kathryn supports the Refugee Protection advocacy teams in devising and executing strategies to achieve measurable program and organizational objectives. She supports the program’s strategic advocacy initiatives by providing research, targeted advocacy, and administrative support, to advance the priority policy objectives of the organization.

Before joining Human Rights First, Kathryn was a research associate at the Brookings-Bern Project on Internal Displacement, as well as the Institute for the Study of International Migration. While at Georgetown, Kathryn interned at the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants and Refugees International.

Kathryn received her M.A. in Latin American Studies and Certificate in Refugees and Humanitarian Emergencies from Georgetown University’s School of Service (2009) and her B.A. in Latin American Studies from Willamette University (2007).
