The Pope Condemns Torture

Pope Benedict XVI's first official visit to the United States provides a good opportunity to remind us of his clear opposition to torture. On September 7, 2007, the Pope said, "I reiterate that the prohibition against torture cannot be contravened under any circumstances."

All Jesus said was to love our enemies, forgive them and bless them - He died on the cross saying "Forgive them, Father, for they don't know what they are doing. That has to do with torture and the death penalty which was not imposed on Cain by G_d but on Jesus Christ after torture. Maybe that is why Christians shouldn't torture and take vengeance on rich oil states who can't defend themselves. and then lie about why.
