Racism and Xenophobia

racism and xenophobiaRacist and xenophobic violence and sentiment are rising across the world. Cutting across religious and cultural divides, racism and xenophobia threaten communities of ethnic or national minorities, including immigrants, citizens, long-time residents and newcomers.  Immigrants and refugees are among the most vulnerable groups.

Human Rights First’s Hate Crime Survey profiled attacks on people based on ethnicity or race. Our advocacy brings governments’ attention to the plight of these minorities and shows how they can combat discrimination and hate crime.
