Recommendations for a Human-Rights Centered U.S. Foreign Policy

These reports provide specific, achievable, meaningful recommendations for how the U.S. government can rebuild a foreign policy centered on promoting human rights, contesting authoritarianism, leading by example at home, protecting the most vulnerable, and stemming corruption.

Walking the Talk’s recommendations are organized into ten thematic “blueprints.” Each blueprint is intended to provide policymakers with a step-by-step guide for how to reassert a commitment to the universal rights upon which security and prosperity rely.
