Support the Annual “Ride for Human Rights”
With over 60 million people displaced worldwide, refugees need our help now more than ever. So our long-time volunteer, friend, and supporter Jeffrey Heller is taking up the mantle once again to continue his journey across the United States to raise awareness and money for Human Rights First and our work helping refugees win asylum in the United States.
Human Rights First’s Refugee Representation program changes lives. A refugee with a lawyer is three times more likely to win asylum than one without a lawyer. Our network of pro bono attorneys provides legal help, for free—and we win 90 percent of our cases. Jeffrey knows this success doesn’t just happen. It needs support to continue.
This year, when COVID-19 abates, Jeffrey is hitting the road on a 1,200-mile journey from Seattle to Missoula to Provo. This marks his tenth year of standing with us—no, *biking* with us—to promote the rights of refugees and asylum seekers.
