In the hearing before the House Foreign Affairs Committee’s Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, Human Rights First President and CEO Michael Breen took stock of the targeted human rights sanctions program, and outlined recommendations for members of Congress to consider as they weigh the reauthorization of the Global Magnitsky Act.
