International Human Rights

As authoritarian practices spread around the world, the human rights of people everywhere are increasingly at risk. Marginalized communities are especially vulnerable. These challenges unfold amid armed conflict, climate disruption, mass displacement, and rapidly changing technologies that reshape how power is exercised and contested.
We work across borders to strengthen accountability, human rights, and humanitarian support systems; aid frontline defenders; and challenge impunity and corruption. We also focus on promoting human rights in U.S. foreign policy, given the outsize U.S. influence internationally. Drawing on nearly 50 years of global impact, our legal and policy strategies safeguard dignity, equality, and the rule of law.
